What We Do

Our Mission

Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen was born out of the vision of Rick and Pam Humphreys to feed and shelter the homeless in the Pensacola area. Rick and Pam began the ministry of feeding the homeless from their locally owned restaurant in Downtown Pensacola. They sold the restaurant in 1984 to serve the homeless full time, and have been meeting the needs of the homeless ever since. Our mission at Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen is to share the love of Jesus to the homeless in our community through providing food, shelter, and clothing to those in need.

Serving the homeless since 1984

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me..”

— Matthew 25:35-36
